Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 11 reviews.
I would give these only 4 stars due to the fact that, in my opinion "overnight" should be the most absorbant. However as they are incredibly high quality i don't feel it is warranted. I would wish as that the X-plus be made with the same care and quality tho.
The photos have X-plus on the left, overnight in the middle and their plus on the right. All three are their fitted, plastic backed briefs medium sized.
So these overnights Have a great feel to them, the quality is immediately apparent upon first grabbing. They are smooth and soft yet have an undeniable feel of strength and durability. I am most disappointed they have such a small capacity in comparison to the XPlus tho. But still they deserve their 5 star rating. They are also quiet and easy to conceal under clothing. One can more easily untape these discreetly than typical plastic backed tabbed diapers. Mind one has to take the typical precautions, IYKYK. They are hardy, after wearing for a night even while there are nontypical forces being exerted on them all night, they still performed very well in the morning with no leaks, which truly speaks for their quality, as neither their plus or x plus pass this particular test.
Highly recommend for those AB/DL users, who capacity isn't their number one requirement. Inserts are always an option for those that do require capacity.
I bought these on sale, I feel it is a must with anything this site sells, otherwise not on sale, nothing is worth full price here, even these. As at $2 bucks a piece full price, there are much better options out there if your going to pay that premium. But I feel that it's totally unnecessary to pay full price because total dry is absolutely FANTASTIC about sales and sending coupons ALL THE TIME. If you find yourself looking at full price check your email, if you haven't signed up for their newsletter, do so they are always sending sales and coupons. If you've done this and still don't have a deal, I recommend calling them, their customer service is surprisingly good. Had a instance in which only got 1 pack instead of 4 and they got right on it with no hassle. Also she spoke English as her native language, and if it was a second I could not tell.
So if your on the fence with these guys pull the trigger give em a try just make sure you got a coupon or sale or both, as they rock like that! I'll put reviews albeit much shorter and less positive upon the others I have tried too.
I find the Total Dry Overnight Fitted Brief to fill a critical need. They are affordable, are reasonably absorbent, and provide the perfect balance between bulk and absorbancy. Really good for travel and using just for nighttime coverage. They can be reasonably concealed by jeans, if you want less protection but absolutely discrete, use the Total Dry Fitted Brief, same design, including the PLASTIC BACKING, just thinner. I REALLY appreciate the PLASTIC BACKING, there is no odor or urine "sweating" through as I always find with every brief with a "cloth-like" backing. The PLASTIC BACKING is very soft (termed "silk-like" by Total Dry) with no sound at all, there is a very solid heavy plastic landing zone for the tapes that allows adjustment or re-taping as necessary and the tapes are pretty sturdy, very rarely have I had one break. This landing zone/study tape combo works much better than briefs with so-called re-fastenable tapes without a landing zone. You should be careful not to fasten the top tapes super snug or you risk putting a tear in the back if you are active (like traveling, a key use for me), not a big deal once you learn what to do. I really, really appreciate this products affordability, bulk/capacity balance, and utility.
I've tried several adult diapers/ breifs
Through 30+ years and the totaldry
Overnight plastic backed are my favorite go to and Here's why...The fit is great and the plastic backed don't stretch and hold there fit....if you over saturate ..usually a 4th wetting void and get a leak...they don't feel wet on the outside, like the cloth like backing of most adult diapers/ briefs. The clothlike/breathable also allows odors to escape.. when wearing and in the trash can...The only advantage of clothlike/breathable is there quiet. .so I wear regular underwear
over my plastic/polly briefs to mask any noise..
I prefer tab style briefs for two reasons.. most have more absorbency and ease of changes while wearing clothes. Compaired to underwear style urinary breifs. Those are for light protection and dont work for my needs.. they leak while sitting or lying down. Absorbent padding don't even go to the top at front or back and some dont even have leak gaurds... so to change my tab style briefs while standing,.i simply Lean against a wall ...weather that's at home or in a bathroom stall. I've learned to fasten the top tabs first, then bottom.
Totaldry Overnight are not very loud to begin with. Unlike other products an example such as tranquility atn.tab stye.
The price point on sale .for totaldry Overnight is .75 cents ea.
These are not as absorbent as the premium brands. 1.50 to over 2.00 ea.... like Megamax, Or incontrol, Betterdry, or
Abenna m4. ,Tena proskin tab style But totaldry are also not as bulky as
. the premium brands above are cut wider and thicker. Between your legs and difficult to hide under clothing, as they swell with use. ..and the total cost per
Day spent is ...about the same... I can usually have three medium voids approx. 10 oz each before I change
and that's without a booster. And it is healthy
To change out periodically.... So at night,... I do use a booster pad which is a great way to add absorbency and save money to any product to Customize for your needs without having to have alot of
Different products to stock and manage. . I hope my experience and explanations will help make this a little easier for you to manage your needs as they change as you age.
Be free to live with the right protection levels.
Good product. Stays firm and comfy for a long time. Good value, and works great for day and night. Not so loud that its a problm to wear under clothes when shopping, driving or such.
Only issues are that several briefs per package come with one of the tabs taped to the inside of the diaper so it is not as sticky then, when its unstuck from the inside lining. Also, I have had many that seem to split in the rear. Some its only the inside of the diaper so the stuffing can come out and be displaced, others its all the way thru, which can and has caused some leaks and other concerns. When they don't break/split, they work great and are very comfy.
Have been using them for the past few months for OAB at night. Great protection at night. I can sleep without worrying about leaks. Great capacity for those heavy nights. Comfortable, no irritating padding or surfaces.
ordered a pack of the large, the quality is great. that being said my rating would be higher if medium was in stock. i had issues of the large size being to big so i had leakages.
